PGE Baltica organizes Suppliers Day PGE Baltica for potential contractors

08.12.2020

On the 14th of December 2020, at 1 pm CET, PGE Baltica will conduct workshops for suppliers of products and services who are interested in cooperation with PGE Baltica and special purpose vehicles - Wind Farms: Baltica 3, Baltica 2, and Baltica 1. The event will be held in the form of the live broadcast

Offshore wind farms are important energy and economic project for Poland. The new strategy of the PGE Group emphasizes the role of offshore wind energy in achieving the PGE Group's goal of climate neutrality in 2050. The supply chain of offshore energy investments may become a Polish export specialization. Currently, most Polish offshore companies, which are already world-class producers of components for this type of investment, only deal with exports. The scale of their activities could be much larger if a domestic market was created. PGE wants to use this potential to realize the PGE Offshore Wind Farm Program, which will be implemented with the most significant participation of Polish contractors.

The main purpose of the Suppliers Day is to present to potential contractors the key investment plans of the PGE Capital Group in the area of offshore wind energy and to explain procurement procedures. The event is organized by PGE Baltica.

The meeting will be held in the form of a video live broadcast, during which PGE Baltica representatives will give a presentation and answer participants' questions asked via an online chat. The event will be held both in Polish and in English.

Participation in the meeting requires online registration – it will be open till the 11th of December 2020, 12 am CET.

More details regarding the event are available on the PGE Baltica website.
