Ayesa Polska will perform investor supervision for Baltica 2
The company located in Ruda Śląska will be responsible for investor supervision over an offshore project developed by PGE and Ørsted.
Elektrownia Wiatrowa Baltica 2, a joint-venture of PGE and Orsted that developes Baltica 2 offshore wind farm, has signed an agreement relating to the project with Ayesa Polska. The scope of responsibilities for contracted company includes ensuring investor supervision over the entire offshore part of the project, including, among others, the process of installing turbines, foundations, export cables and offshore transformer stations.
The Baltica 2 offshore wind farm will be put into operation in 2027. Preparation of the seabed for the commencement of construction at sea is starting this year. Construction works on the onshore connection infrastructure in the Choczewo commune have been ongoing since mid-2024. With 1.5 GW of capacity, Baltica 2 will be able to provide clean electricity from Baltic wind to approximately 2.5 million customers.
