PGE Baltica was established in January 2019 as the company responsible for implementing the Offshore Program in the PGE Capital Group which coordinates preparations for the construction of three wind farms:
- Baltica-1 Wind Farm (EWB1), with a maximum capacity of up to 896 MW;
- Baltica-2 Wind Farm (EWB2), with a maximum capacity of up to 1 498 MW;
- Baltica-3 Wind Farm (EWB3) with a maximum capacity of up to 1 036 MW.
PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna is the owner of PGE Baltica and its special purpose vehicles.
PGE Offshore Program includes construction of three offshore wind farms in the Polish part of the Baltic Sea with total capacity of about 3.5 GW. PGE also owns five more seabed areas which will allow for development of additional over 3.9 GW.
